Privacy Policy

VectorForge is a free tool that converts images into SVG. It is designed to process as little personal data as possible. This policy explains what is processed when you use png2svg.web-site.top (the “Service”), why it is processed, and how long it is kept.

In short

• No account. You can use the Service without registering.
• Your image is not stored. It is processed in memory to produce the SVG and discarded afterwards.
• Image contents are not logged. We do not inspect, review, train on, or share your images.
• No advertising or analytics cookies. The core Service sets no tracking cookies.
• Anti-abuse signals are short-lived. Puzzle timings and browser signals are used only to stop automated abuse and are retained only briefly.
• No sale of personal data. We do not sell data or use it for profiling.

What we process

1. The image you upload

When you convert an image, the file is sent to our server, decoded, vectorised, and returned as an SVG. The image is held in memory only for the duration of the request and is discarded when the response is complete. We do not write uploaded images to persistent storage, do not create image backups, and do not use images to train models.

2. Conversion settings

Your chosen preset, stroke and line-art options, gradient/colour limits, and upscale setting are used only to perform the conversion you requested.

3. Anti-abuse and challenge data

Before a conversion, the Service asks your browser to solve a small visual puzzle and to compute a short proof of work. We also receive limited signals about how the challenge was solved and about the browser environment, such as:

• the number and timing of pointer or keyboard events, path length and pauses;
• the challenge result, proof-of-work nonce, and hash;
• your IP address, user agent, language and timezone settings;
• screen size, touch support, visibility/focus changes, and coarse WebGL/Canvas characteristics.

These signals are used only to rate-limit requests, detect automated abuse, and protect the Service. They are not used for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose. We retain this data for a short period — normally no more than 30 days — and then delete it or aggregate it into non-identifying statistics.

4. Technical logs

Our hosting and application logs may record standard technical information such as IP address, date and time, requested path, HTTP status, and user agent. These logs are used for security, troubleshooting, and capacity planning and are retained for no more than 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law or to investigate an attack.

5. Contact

If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use them only to answer you.

Cookies and local storage

The core Service does not use cookies for advertising or analytics. Verification tokens are kept in the page’s memory and are not written to localStorage or sessionStorage. If our hosting provider uses a strictly necessary cookie for security or load balancing, it is used only for that purpose. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the converter should continue to work.

What we do not collect

We do not create user accounts, do not sell personal data, do not use advertising identifiers, and do not run third-party analytics or tracking pixels. We do not send your images to third-party AI or image-processing services.

Sharing

We share data only with:

• our hosting provider, which processes it on our behalf to run the Service;
• authorities or other parties, when required by law or when necessary to protect the Service, our users, or the public;
• a successor, if the Service is transferred, subject to this policy.

We do not sell or rent personal data.

Security

The Service uses HTTPS in transit, limits upload size and dimensions, and applies rate limits. No internet service can be perfectly secure, so please do not upload content that you are not permitted to share.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority. Because we do not hold accounts or stored images, we may not be able to identify data as yours; we will still respond to reasonable requests. Contact us at privacy@png2svg.web-site.top.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

International transfers

Our hosting provider may process technical data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the Service or the law. We will change the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, provide a clear notice on the site.
